You will work at the Nassau County Department of Social Services and provide leadership for up to 15 nurses who perform UAS assessments and case management for Medicaid recipients who live in Nassau County and are seeking/receiving homecare services. Candidate must be able to ensure all regulatory standards are being met on an ongoing basis.We require:Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science (Nursing), Master of Science (Nursing preferred)UAS CertificationNYS Driver’s LicenseAt least two years of experience managing a nursing unitAt least two years of experience in home careAt least two years’ experience utilizing the UAS assessment tool in the patient’s home or a hospital/rehabilitation facility/nursing home setting.Strong computer skills. Must be comfortable training nursing staff to utilize the UAS assessment tool.If you are self-motivated with superior time management skills, this could be a great fit.
