Multiple locations accepting applicants in Wappingers Falls, Middletown and New Windsor, New York. $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for detailsEssential Functions:Provides pre-referral consultations and contributes to initiatives including Response to Intervention (RtI) Conducts physical therapy screenings in accordance with the policies of the school district to determine the need for assessmentIdentifies whether students who fail screening should be referred for an physical therapy evaluation.Administers a comprehensive assessment to determine the existence of a disability and identifies student’s functional strengths and weaknesses Evaluates students to obtain data necessary to determine eligibility for physical therapy services, treatment planning, and implementation Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to students (when appropriate), teaching staff, family, and other specialists Serves as a member of teams for students with suspected deficits that impact daily living skills Presents physical therapy assessment results at team meetings Collaborates with educational team to determine appropriate services to meet student’s individual needs.At SHC, we prioritize students’ well-being above all, offering a broad range of benefits, programs, and support services to help you succeed in your role.
