Logistics Account Executive

Experience:Proven experience in cradle-to-grave freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation management, with a deep understanding of the trucking industry including regulations and operational procedures. (REQUIRED)Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively broker deals between shippers and carriers, and to build and maintain professional relationships.Proficiency in the use of freight brokerage software and transportation management systems to efficiently track shipments, manage carrier networks, and optimize freight operations.Ability to analyze market trends and data to identify business opportunities, set competitive rates, and develop strategic plans to increase profitability.Aptitude for solving complex logistical problems, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Education:High school degree required; BA or Associate degree preferredRequired Skill Set:Excellent customer service skills and ability to establish immediate relationship rapportTolerance to ambiguity and the ability to overcome barriersAble to work within a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple responsibilitiesHonest, strong work ethic, resourceful and possess effective negotiation skillsProficient in basic computer skillsCollege degree is preferred, but not required as we have successful sales reps without itAlliance Highway Capacity, a division of Alliance Shippers Inc., is seeking talented individuals to join our team in Mechanicsburgh, PA.
