Freight Forwarding Operations Specialist

Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Freight Forwarding Operations Specialist to manage inland transportation and maritime import logistics. This role is responsible for overseeing contracted carriers, optimizing lead times, and resolving transportation issues, ensuring seamless delivery from port to final destination.The ideal candidate will have experience in freight forwarding, inland transportation management, and claims processing, with strong analytical skills to track and report logistics cost reduction initiatives. This role requires excellent coordination with carriers, shipping origins, and internal teams to drive operational efficiency and service excellence.Work visa sponsorship available, eligibility for permanent residency sponsorship after 2–3 years of employment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage inland transportation within the U.S. (Port to LGE TN section)Oversee contracted carriers and manage annual inland transportation biddingHandle lead time management and issue troubleshooting for the maritime import section (including coordination with shipping origins)Process claims for damages occurring during transportationManage and report on weekly/monthly logistics cost reduction initiatives to LGE TNQualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)Sea import and inland transportation operation experience - 5 to 10 years (Min more than 3 years)Bilingual: Korean and English (required) Many jobs are connected to business with Korea, as over 80% of import containers are shipped from there.
