We are hiring Line Cooks to prepare high-quality food, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure all dishes are prepared according to Winery Chef's recipes and standards.This role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to work evening shifts as needed.Job DescriptionPrepare, season, and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, following recipes and portion standardsOperate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, fryers, and slicersMaintain a clean and organized workstation while ensuring food safety and sanitation compliance standardsCollaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals during serviceAssist with receiving and properly storing kitchen inventory and suppliesMonitor food quality and freshness, ensuring ingredients meet company standardsWork efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailFollow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of knives and kitchen equipmentQualificationsMinimum 2 years of line cook experience or a similar role in a fast-paced, professional kitchen (depending on the establishment)Experience with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipmentFamiliarity with specific cuisines or menu items may be required based on the restaurant’s focusHigh school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training or coursework is preferred but not requiredFood Handler’s Certification is preferred but may be required upon being hired, depending on local regulationsKnowledge of basic food safety and sanitation regulations, such as ServSafe certification, is desiredMust be able to communicate verbally and in writing in EnglishUnderstanding of proper use of kitchen equipment, such as stoves, refrigeration, slicers, and knivesAbility to multitask and work efficiently under pressureStrong organizational and communication skillsTeam player with a positive attitude and strong work ethicPay Range: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour.
