If you have 'fire in the belly' and have a desire to build a strong team.TAKE YOUR CAREER TO THE NEXT LEVELLARGE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM GREAT COMMUNITY DYNAMIC TEAM RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROVIDEDWHAT YOU WILL DO: Manage the Sheboygan and Manitowoc Environmental Services operations and areas.Manages and has accountability including but not limited to: Environmental Services, Patient Transport and Linen Distribution functions for assigned site(s).Ensure a consistently high level of safety, cleanliness and appearance for patients, visitors, and staff.Develop, maintain, and implement schedules, frequencies, and protocols to ensure that the facilities maintain a high level of environmental cleanliness.Ensures department operations are compliant with infection prevention practices, applicable policies, rules, regulations (federal, state, local, and accrediting agencies) and laws. Contribute to quality improvement activities by making suggestions for improvements in processes and supports change efforts in the organization and department.Continually work toward increased efficiency through the use of analytics and implementing industry best practice.Maintain a waste and recycling program that includes proper segregation and disposal of infectious, hazardous, and municipal solid wastes; ensures that environmental services' waste procedures comply with system and regulatory standards.Manage all special cleaning projects and performs facility inspections to ensure the required cleaning standards are met.Ensure areas meet local, state and federal compliance standards, guidelines and practices and meets accreditation standards of the Joint Commission.Research, coordinate, and manage any contracted cleaning services.Prepare and mail requests for proposals, and negotiates cleaning service bids.WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:5 years of experience in housekeeping and environmental services EVS in a healthcare or related environment1 year of supervisory experience in management of staff, budgets and multiple human resources functionsExperience in cleaning chemicals, proper floor care, wall and floor coverings and proper use of power equipment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership.Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word) or similar products.Strong knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local waste management laws and regulations.Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
