CNC Machinist – Project-Based ? Location: Silver Creek, NY ? Full-Time -hiring all shifts ? Compensation: [$18-$30/hour “Competitive, based on experience??] About the RoleWe’re looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our project-based machine shop supporting Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. If you thrive in a low-volume, high-precision environment and want to contribute to national security efforts, this opportunity is for you.What You’ll DoSet up and operate CNC mills and lathes (G-code/Conversational).Manufacture complex parts to precise tolerances.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specs.Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to improve processes.Document work and maintain compliance with DoD and internal standards.Work with materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium.Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance checks.What We’re Looking ForMust-Haves:2+ years of CNC machining experience in a job or project shop.Proficient with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, or Siemens preferred).Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or MIL-SPEC quality standards.Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T.U.S. Citizenship (required for DoD projects).Nice-to-Haves:Experience with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis machines.CAM software experience (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360).Prior work in defense or aerospace manufacturing.Active security clearance.BenefitsWe offer a competitive benefits package including:Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchPaid HolidaysPaid Sick LeavePaid Vacation TimeOpportunities for Overtime PaySupportive, mission-focused team environmentShift Differential payVeterans WelcomeWe strongly encourage U.S. military veterans to apply.
