Our goal is to employ innovation and strategic thinking by capital project subject matter experts to deliver optimum project results.PTAG’s vision is to help our clients become global leaders in the selection, planning, and execution of their capital and sustaining projects.Our Values IncludeSafety: The safety of our employees, suppliers and clients is our top priorityCollaboration: Creating true partnerships with our clients and service providersLeadership: Improving project performance through the application of best practicesAccountability: Being accountable to our clients for every aspect of engagementClient Satisfaction: Delivering 100% client satisfaction on every projectIntegrity: Open and clear communication in every aspect of our businessLocation: Ashtabula, OHType of Employment: ContractID# 6276Role & ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all construction activities adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations.Verify compliance with contract scope, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.Serve as a liaison between the site owner, contractors, and local/regulatory agencies to promote transparent communication and issue resolution.Monitor construction progress daily using Procore, review and update contractor’s daily reports.Review technical project documentation, including specifications, engineering calculations, and construction drawings.Perform field verifications of progress to ensure alignment with project schedules and contractor-reported completion percentages.Maintain and support document control efforts for site-specific documentation such as contracts, drawings, reports, and correspondence.Represent the owner during site visits from regulatory agencies, addressing compliance inquiries or issues.Support the owner’s Project Manager with change management tasks, providing assessments of proposed changes or deviations from scope.Utilize tools such as MS Excel, Word, Teams, and Project to manage reports, communications, and tracking metrics.Use Procore to track issues, RFIs, submittals, and logs related to construction and commissioning.Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in either Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Industrial EngineeringMaster’s Degree would be considered an assetConstruction Management or Project Management certification would be an asset (CCM, CAPM, PMP)Health, Safety & Environmental Certifications would be an assetMinimum of 7 years of experience in Construction Management, specifically overseeing construction and commissioning of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) facilities or similar infrastructure projects.Proven experience in managing installation and commissioning of major systems such as:Solar gas turbinesHeat recovery steam generatorsDeaeratorsSwitchgear and transformersDiesel generatorsBoiler feedwater pumpsSanitary wastewater systemsProficiency in reading blueprints, interpreting construction and engineering drawings.Competency in using project management tools, especially Procore and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, Project).Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build rapport across multidisciplinary teams.Demonstrated ability to prioritize safety, manage schedule adherence, and identify construction risks and opportunities in real-time.
