Regional Pharmacy Director

A top healthcare network in the Midwest seeks a Regional Pharmacy Director to join their leadership team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Pharmacy Director to grow and innovate inpatient pharmacy services at the system level. Job ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Regional Pharmacy Director will be the primary Pharmacy Leader for inpatient pharmacy services and collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical leaders. Key responsibilities include: Oversee daily pharmacy operations for 5 acute care hospitals totaling 400+ bedsDevelop and implement policies and procedures in line with hospital standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS, USP /)Ensure accurate and safe preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medicationsLead, mentor, and manage a team of Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Support StaffCollaborate with medical, nursing, and administrative leadership to optimize pharmaceutical careManage the pharmacy budget, inventory, and purchasing to ensure cost-effective operationsMonitor compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and hospital policiesImplement and maintain clinical pharmacy services and performance improvement initiativesParticipate in hospital committees and contribute to strategic planning initiativesThe ideal Regional Pharmacy Director will possess:At least 3 years of acute care Pharmacy management experience Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance and strategic growthWhy Work HereAs a Regional Pharmacy Director you’ll enjoy:Competitive compensation package ranging from $160,000 to $235,000 annuallyCollaborative work environment focused on innovation and clinical excellenceCentrally-located near big city amenities
