We are dedicated to building a diverse team, fostering an inclusive culture for every employee, and upholding an environment where everyone is treated with compassion and respect.Boston IVF, Managed by RMA is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Waltham office.SUMMARYProvides clinical assistance to the nursing and physician teams as neededESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESWorks in conjunction with the nurses and physicians to ensure the smooth daily flow of the clinical practice. Daily duties include but are not limited to the following:MA DutiesCoordinates clinics for physicians seeing patients in conjunction with the nursing staffSees patients in clinic with the physician and performs basic functions such as clinical values, enters into EMRAssists the physicians with procedures (SHG, biopsy, HSG, Hycosy etc)Performs IUIs under the direction of the clinical managementStocks exam rooms/sterilizes instrumentsMaintains appropriate BLS certificationChart Preparation for consultsMaintains log books: ie: QC/Autoclave/Pathology/UPTMaintain Biohazard Waste disposal: empty/restock rooms, packaging & disposal.Supplies: Maintain updated lists/Check par levels/dates all supplies/watch expiration dates.CommunicationDocumentation in EMR is complete, legible, accurate, and conciseCommunicates with rest of staff if issues ariseSpeaks in a pleasant, calm voice when interacting with patients and co-workersMaintains patient confidentiality in and out of the office at all timesOTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIESAble to handle multiple tasks at one time in an efficient, accurate and calm mannerEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEOffice OB/Gyn and or Infertility experience -preferredDiploma/Certificate requiredJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance
