Position: Program Coordinator - Regulated Child CareDuration: 6-month Contract to HireLocation: Frankfort, KY - HybridStart: ASAPPosition Summary:The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting key regulatory functions within the Division of Regulated Child Care. This role serves as the central office liaison for Priority One (P1) investigations, manages aspects of the Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) process, and provides programmatic assistance in the monitoring and oversight of Adverse Actions and Civil Penalty programs. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills to ensure consistent application of regulations and support for internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Program Coordination & Liaison (40%)Respond to inquiries from the general public, agency staff, and enforcement personnel.Serve as the central liaison between the central office and field management regarding Priority One investigations.Provide backup support on matters related to adverse actions and civil penalties.Informal Dispute Resolution & Data Reporting (20%)Communicate program and procedural updates to staff, contractors, and other stakeholders.Coordinate and assist in scheduling Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) meetings.Collect and report data related to P1 investigations and other key program areas.Compliance Review & Policy Interpretation (20%)Review records related to adverse actions and penalties to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.Interpret and communicate laws, policies, and procedures to staff and program participants across the state.Collaborate with the Procedures Development Coordinator on adverse action processes.Public Documentation & Website Content (10%)Partner with the Training Development Specialist to maintain accurate, up-to-date public-facing documents on the DRCC website and intranet.Ensure accessible and compliant communication of program materials.Professional Development & Collaboration (5%)Attend and actively participate in trainings, meetings, and webinars relevant to program responsibilities.Other Duties as Assigned (5%)Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by leadership.Qualifications:Knowledge of regulatory processes, administrative procedures, and public program oversight preferred.Experience working in a compliance, regulatory, or program coordination capacity is strongly desired.Ability to interpret and apply laws, policies, and procedures.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Proficiency with data collection and reporting.
