**We have openings throughout the Northeast**Job Title: General Surgical PathologistLocation: Northeastern United StatesJob Type: Full-TimeSpecialty: Anatomic Pathology / Surgical PathologyJob SummaryA well-established pathology group (or hospital/laboratory) in the Northeast is seeking a board-certified (or board-eligible) Surgical Pathologist to join our dynamic and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general surgical pathology with additional fellowship training or subspecialty expertise preferred, but not required.ResponsibilitiesInterpret and sign out surgical pathology cases across a broad range of organ systemsProvide intraoperative consultations (frozen sections) and gross examination oversightParticipate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinical conferencesCollaborate with fellow pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate diagnosesMaintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, and institutional quality standardsParticipate in quality assurance, continuing education, and peer review activities(If academic): Contribute to teaching of residents, fellows, or medical students(Optional): Engage in research or scholarly activityQualificationsMD or DO with AP or AP/CP board certification (or eligibility)Completion of an accredited residency in pathologyFellowship training in a subspecialty (e.g., GI, GYN, breast, head and neck, or cytopathology) is a plusEligible for medical licensure in the applicable Northeastern stateExcellent diagnostic, interpersonal, and communication skillsCommitment to high-quality patient care and collaborative team practicePreferred TraitsExperience in a busy surgical pathology serviceInterest in contributing to continuous improvement and lab operationsAbility to manage workload efficiently while maintaining attention to detailCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceFull benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, CME allowancePaid vacation and holidaysMalpractice insurance coverageOpportunities for professional development and advancementAbout the LocationLocated in the Northeast, our region offers access to world-class universities, vibrant cities, coastal beauty, and outdoor recreation.
