Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for MRI Technologist positions that will provide support for our client's healthcare systems in New York City, New York, this is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Job Description:Job Title: MRI TechnologistLocation: New York City, New YorkSchedule: 40hrs Shift: 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Sunday, Thursday, Friday) 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM (Sunday through Saturday)Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay Range: $2600.00- $2700.00 Weekly DOEJob Summary:We are looking for an Experienced MRI Technologist skilled in performing high-quality MRI procedures with a strong emphasis on patient safety and adherence to established protocols. Proven ability to maintain and operate MRI equipment efficiently, ensuring a clean and safe imaging environment. Adept at accurately documenting procedures and patient information in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Duties & Responsibilities:Conduct MRI safety interviews prior to proceduresIdentify patients using two approved identifiers at every point of contactExplain procedures and respond to patient questions or concernsOperate and adjust MRI equipment and select proper imaging parametersMaintain zone 4 MRI safety standards for all personnel and patientsPosition patients correctly and monitor them during scanningClean MRI scanner and exam room after each useEvaluate image quality and ensure proper labeling and documentationReport equipment malfunctions and assist in basic troubleshootingMaintain and track inventory of imaging suppliesEnter patient data and procedural notes into the EMRPerform other duties as assigned Skills & Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 1 year MRI experience.Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.License: Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist License, Advanced-Level MRI Certification (ARRT or ARMRIT).Required: Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
