About the Role:We are seeking experienced Credit Balance Specialists to join our dynamic team. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a strong background in healthcare credit balance resolution, insurance refunds, and payer research.This role features a hybrid schedule:Remote: Mondays, Tuesdays, and FridaysOnsite (Lewisville, TX): Wednesdays and ThursdaysKey Responsibilities:Analyze and resolve credit balances in assigned work queuesCoordinate benefits and update missing or outdated insurance coverageResearch and respond to internal/external refund inquiriesIdentify and escalate payer-specific trendsPost approved adjustments and resolve unidentified paymentsMaintain clear, complete, and accurate account notesParticipate in payer/provider calls and document meeting minutesAssist in mentoring and training new employeesComplete special reports and tasks as assigned by leadershipMust-Have Qualifications:2+ years of recent credit balance experience in healthcareExperience with insurance and patient refunds, adjustments, and payer policiesStrong knowledge of primary and secondary insurancesHigh school diploma or equivalentProficient with Microsoft Outlook and ExcelShift: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
