This working supervisor will oversee all imaging processes and be part of a team dedicated to continuous improvement and excellence in patient care.HIGHLIGHTSJOB TYPE: Full-Time, Market Lead CT/Radiology TechnologistFACILITY TYPE: 20 bed Small-Format Hospital (10 ER, 10 Inpatient)PERKS: Flexible Schedule, 401K match (fully vested on day 1 of eligibility!)IDEAL EXPERIENCE: 3 years in Radiology, 2 years in CT, 2 years of supervisory experience in a medical imagingBasic QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED, required.Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required.Certified as a medical radiologic technologist and/or CT machine operator as required by the state in which practicing, required.Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Computed Tomography, required.Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association, required.2+ years of supervisory experience in a medical imaging environment with Quality Assurance and medical imaging regulations/accreditation requirements, strongly preferredAssociate’s Degree in radiology, preferred.3+ years radiologic/imaging experience, preferred.2+ years of CT experience, preferred.1+ years of emergency room experience, preferred.Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer’s hardware/software and PACS.Essential Job FunctionsEquipment Operation and MaintenanceOperate and maintain all imaging department equipment, including but not limited to X-ray, CT, C-Arm, CR reader, and PACS.Perform all routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks following established protocols for all imaging equipment.Oversee the maintenance of radiology equipment, supplies, and materials to ensure efficient, safe, and effective services for patients, physicians, and staff.Imaging ProceduresPerform all imaging exams in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws, ensuring the physician on duty is notified of the results.Assess the accuracy of images and oversee all technical troubleshooting and quality assurance issues.Compliance and DocumentationEnsure and maintain required documentation for compliance with general safety, radiation safety, environmental, and infection control standards, as well as local, state, FDA, ACR, DNV, and HIPAA regulations.Retain records of all analytic activities performed for a minimum of two years.Maintain all required documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in both paper and electronic formats.Staff Training and DevelopmentManage personnel, including interviewing and hiring, staffing, scheduling, ensuring staff competency, conducting department in-service training, maintaining performance standards, and verifying staff licensure. (Christiana PA Market)Clinical and Technical SupportPerform basic clinical procedures under the direction of the physician and/or nurse on duty.Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses, and other technical and administrative staff in meeting the needs of individual patients throughout the facility.Quality and Compliance MonitoringEnsure compliance with state and federal requirements for medical imaging and radiology safety, as well as all Radiation Safety Officer responsibilities.Monitor compliance with standards, identify variances or inabilities to meet established targets, and implement actions to ensure targets are met.Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.Other Job FunctionsAttend and participates in hospital committees, as appropriate.Travel to all facility locations as required.Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required.Flexibility to work outside regular hours and provide coverage for call-ins as needed.Perform additional duties as assigned.
