Job descriptionJob OverviewWe are seeking a passionate, strategic, and highly motivated Physician Liaison to join our rapidly expanding rheumatology practice, which includes cutting-edge clinics, clinical trial centers, infusion services, and partnerships with hospitals, adult family homes, and other healthcare facilities. As a key driver of growth, you will play an instrumental role in establishing and nurturing relationships across a broad spectrum of referral sources to support our vision of developing a regional network of multiple, interconnected sites dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking organization focused on expanding access, advancing treatment options, and elevating the standard of rheumatology care across diverse community settings. You will have the chance to build meaningful relationships with healthcare providers, hospital systems, adult family homes, and pharmaceutical representatives, fostering collaboration that enhances patient outcomes and supports our strategic goals.Key Elements to this Position Include:Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and their staff.Educate healthcare providers about our services and specialties to enhance patient referrals.Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure quality patient care and effective communication.Organize and participate in outreach events, presentations, and educational sessions for healthcare professionals.Gather feedback from referring physicians to improve service delivery and patient experience.Monitor referral patterns and identify opportunities for growth within the community.Stay informed about industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations affecting referrals.Vision for Growth:Our goal is to develop a regional network of multiple sites—hospital-based clinics, outpatient centers, adult family homes, and community clinics—to improve access, patient outcomes, and community health. The Physician Liaison will be pivotal in shaping this growth, building strong partnerships, and fostering collaboration across diverse healthcare sectors.SkillsDeep knowledge of medical specialties aligned with rheumatology, infusion therapy, and community-based healthcare.Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain professional relationships with healthcare providers, hospital staff, adult family homes, pharmaceutical reps, and community organizations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a growing organization.An analytical mindset to interpret referral data, identify opportunities, and support strategic growth.Proficiency with EHR systems and healthcare software tools.Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or a related field required; advanced degrees preferred.Prior experience in healthcare sales, marketing, provider relations, or community outreach is highly desirable, especially within rheumatology or specialty care.Our rheumatology clinic offers a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.Compensation:Competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.Performance-based bonuses are aligned with growth and outreach objectives.Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off.Opportunities for professional development and career progression within a dynamic, expanding organization.Join Our Vision:Be part of a forward-looking team committed to transforming rheumatology care and expanding access across diverse community settings.
