Scheduler - Home Health Care

Position SummaryWe are a compassionate and rapidly growing home care agency seeking a full-time Scheduler to manage caregiver assignments and deliver exceptional customer service. The Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling home health aides, ensuring timely and efficient care for elderly and disabled clients.Key ResponsibilitiesAssign and schedule Home Health Aides (HHA) to clients based on authorized Case Manager Service Plans.Ensure client and staff information is accurately entered and updated regularly in the agency’s system (ASR).Handle last-minute cancellations and find substitute aides when necessary.Notify clients of their assigned HHAs and any replacements.Communicate client-specific care instructions to HHAs before their shifts.Build and maintain professional relationships with clients to ensure quality service.Adapt to changes in schedules and client preferences while maintaining service quality.Follow HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality and documentation.Update and maintain all necessary documentation in ASR.QualificationsHigh school diploma required.2+ years of experience in home health or healthcare scheduling (preferred).Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate attitude toward the sick, elderly, and disabled.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing conditions.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.Proficient computer skills, including data entry and scheduling software.Must be comfortable working in a call center/customer service environment.Knowledge of local zip codes and scheduling best practices.Clear and professional communication skills in English.Compensation & BenefitsStarting at $20.00 per hourFull-time, in-person positionHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k)Morning shift, 8-hour shifts
