Senior Electrical Estimator

We're a leading electrical contractor and engineering firm, specializing in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for commercial and industrial clients in the Carolinas. We are looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator to come join our team!The Senior Estimator will be responsible for overseeing the estimation process for electrical projects, ensuring accuracy in cost calculations and effective communication with stakeholders. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple projects over $10M and meeting deadlines while delivering results in a team-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and overhead.Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and required materials.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.Utilize estimating software, such as Conest, to generate estimates and proposals.Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather data for estimating purposes.Provide leadership and mentorship to junior estimators and team members.Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and future project developments that may impact estimates.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a technical field, Business Management, or equivalent, and demonstrated work experience.7+ years of experience in electrical estimating, with a focus on commercial projects over $10MProficient in electrical estimation software, preferably Conest.Strong operational and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage teams and projects.Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.Results-driven with a track record of meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work.Certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or Certified Cost Professional (CCP) are a plus.BenefitsProfit Sharing = eligible for up to 10% of their base salaryBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision401k with company matchLaptopVacationOpportunity to work remote on Friday'sEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
