Therapist (1099 – Fee-for-Service)Mindful Healing Works is seeking an experienced, communicative, and compassionate therapist to join our team in supporting the emotional, mental, and physical well-being of our clients.This is a 1099 independent contractor position, structured as fee-for-service. We offer a very generous compensation package in recognition of the high-quality care our clinicians provide and the important role they play in our mission.In this role, you will work directly with clients to provide therapeutic support, actively listen to concerns, and offer effective, evidence-based strategies for healing and growth. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative team and values working in a client-centered, supportive environment.Therapist Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide regular individual therapy sessions to clientsBuild positive, trusting therapeutic relationshipsUtilize a range of treatment modalities tailored to each client’s needsMonitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as neededInvolve family members or other supports when clinically appropriateMaintain thorough, timely clinical documentationRefer clients to outside services or resources as necessaryUphold strict confidentiality and ethical standardsStay current with licensure, CE requirements, and professional best practicesTherapist Requirements and QualificationsMaster’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related fieldActive license to practice therapy in the state of Maryland (LCPC, LCSW-C, LGPC, LMSW)Strong communication and active listening skillsProven ability to build rapport and therapeutic allianceCompassionate, client-centered approachAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage time effectively and prioritize caseloadCommitment to ongoing learning and professional developmentAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
