Pride Health is hiring a Biomedical Equipment Technician I to join the team in Menomonee Falls, WI. This role is responsible for providing technical support on a wide range of basic patient care equipment including installation, inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair under guidance and supervision.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of basic medical equipment (e.g., patient monitors, infusion pumps, surgical devices).Perform preventative maintenance and electrical safety inspections to ensure proper equipment functionality.Troubleshoot and repair equipment using methodical, analytical approaches.Respond to unscheduled maintenance requests with appropriate urgency.Ensure all work is completed in compliance with the Froedtert Health Medical Equipment Management Plan.Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours issues as needed.Maintain accurate documentation of service activity.Collaborate with clinical staff, providing guidance on equipment use and promoting a safe environment.Support process improvement and cost-effective technology utilization.Qualifications:Required:Associate’s degree in Biomedical or Electrical Technology,OR Military training in Biomedical/Electrical Technology,OR 2 years of relevant experience.Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License.Basic knowledge of electronics, electrical/mechanical systems, and IT networking.Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.Preferred:3 years of experience in medical equipment repair and maintenance.Specialized training in biomedical equipment service.Hands-on experience with QA/QC procedures and diagnostic equipment.Additional Information:Location: Menomonee Falls, WI 53051Schedule: 40 hours/week | Monday – Friday, 1st Shift (No weekends)Contract Length: 13 weeksPay Rate: $60 - $70/hour*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.Interested?
