Schedule: Full-Time Evening – Five 8-hour shifts per week (3 PM – 11 PM), rotating weekends Part-Time Day or Evening – Two 8-hour shifts per weekCFG Health Systems is seeking a Mental Health Counselor to provide compassionate and effective mental health services to the incarcerated population at Onondaga County Corrections. Conduct mental health intakes, crisis interventions, individual counseling, and group therapy sessions? Assess psychological and psychosocial factors influencing inmate behavior? Collaborate with the treatment team to coordinate and implement patient care plans? Maintain accurate progress notes and discharge summaries? Ensure a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients? Facilitate therapeutic groups focused on treatment goals and rehabilitation? Provide observational feedback to the multidisciplinary team? Refer patients to external mental health resources upon release?
