We work closely with families to provide support and education to foster growth and improve a child’s ability to engage in a meaningful and purposeful manner at school, at home, and in the community.We have immediate openings for full time and part time Pediatric Occupational Therapists and full time COTA's who are enthusiastic, caring, compassionate, resourceful, and motivated. Our clinic is located at 1911 Rohlwing Rd, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008If you enjoy working with children, and you would like to join our team, please apply!Responsibilities: Complete documentation for all pre-authorizations, initial evaluations, re-evaluations, insurance reports, medical reviews, appeal processes and progress reportsParticipate in weekly individual and multidisciplinary case-based group mentoringProvide 1:1 therapeutic intervention and group instruction based on client needsUtilize goals and objectives to develop and implement treatment plans; adjust plans as neededEducate family/caregivers on disorders, treatments, interventions, and at-home practicesCollaborate with other clinicians and the child’s physician and/or school when neededMaintain OT equipment, and conduct staff training and safety checks for equipment useComplete new patient intakes and parental interviews for therapyConduct evaluations to identify client’s needsQualifications:OTR/L (required) or OTDCurrent license from the State of Illinois in Occupational Therapy (required)Personable, playful, positive, and patient with the ability to effectively build rapport with children and familiesStrong knowledge of child development (specifically birth to 18 years) (preferred)Previous or current experience working with children (preferred)Experience with sensory processing disorders (preferred)Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced positionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as on a teamMust be dog-friendly.
