*MUST be local to Greensboro, NC, as this is a fully in-office position*Position OverviewUltimate Staffing Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Improvement Assistant (Medical) to join their client's healthcare team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This full-time, onsite position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about quality improvement in the medical field.ResponsibilitiesJob Supervisory Responsibilities: Quality Improvement Clinical Analyst and Clinical Outcomes SpecialistGeneral Summary: A non-exempt position responsible for identifying, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating clinical quality improvement (QI) activities and providing related consulting and support servicesParticipates in strategic and operational planning to ensure quality careCoordinates the principles and values of continuous quality improvement (CQI) throughout the medical practiceEnsures that CQI efforts comply with regulatory and accreditation standardsCollaborates with IT and Practice Administrator to ensure data systems and programs satisfactorily support CQI activities, including maintaining QI tracking systems and databaseConsults with clinicians, administrator, and QI teams on CQI activities such as chart reviews and accurate and complete documentation and coding, providing technical support and staff education as necessaryEnsures the gathering and analysis of QI data from every clinical department, converts data into statistics for analysisProvides feedback in person and via reports to departments on trends and needed corrective actionsLeads QI committee, which regularly reviews QI data and prepares annual QI reportResolves any patient complaints related to quality of careIdentifies QI opportunities, recognizes QI achievements, and recommends QI plan for next yearMay help select, train, monitor, and evaluate department staffQualificationsAssociate degree in health administration, science, or nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Master's degree in health administration, science, or nursing for supervisor/management track is beneficial.Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, including 1 year of QI experience.Current CMA, RMA, LPN, RN, or other clinical license recommended, not required.Knowledge of PCMH, QI philosophy, models, processes, and tools in a healthcare setting.Familiarity with state-of-the-art QA and regulatory trends.Knowledge of NCQA structure and standards, HEDIS requirements, and any accreditation standards.Required Work HoursMonday to Friday, 8-hour shifts during the day, 8:30am to 5:00pm.BenefitsPay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour based on qualifications and certifications401(k) with matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceAdditional DetailsWork Location: In-person, Greensboro, North CarolinaMax Pay is $23 (if certified).
