Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Houston, TX 77015We are looking for a Texas-licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have experience in wound care, suturing, and other injury-related treatments.Join a dynamic and growing team! A trusted local leader in Occupational Health is expanding to offer urgent care and telehealth services. This key role, reporting directly to the Occupational Health Manager/Clinic Director and will serve as the lead clinical professional, providing guidance and establishing high standards. Responsibilities include offering occupational health services such as hearing tests, drug testing, DOT physicals, triage and urgent care services. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, independent Physician Assistant to provide medical care for the day shift in a clinic with occasional client visits.RESPONSIBILITIES:Evaluating and treating patients, exercising best clinical practices in an urgent care and occupational health environment in a legal and ethical mannerProfessional patient careTreating all patients, and effectively discussing treatment plansDocumenting patient records and careCorrectly coding and billing for services renderedPatient care follow-upHIPPA complianceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:Texas Medical License, compact license, or interim Texas License to work as a PAActive DEA, D.E.A. active registration is requiredStrongly prefer a PA-C, NCCPA certification for a Physician AssistantActive BLS CertificationDOT Certification.
