Location: Newburgh, NY (On Site)Hours: M-F 830 am to 5 pm (40 hours)Salary: $300,000 to $310,000Direct applicants are eligible for a $15,000 sign on bonusWe are looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Psychiatrist to join our team at our outpatient clinic in the heart of the Hudson Valley. Whether you're drawn to the area’s outdoor activities, arts and culture, or its peaceful setting, the Hudson Valley offers something for everyone.Primary Responsibilities:Thriving in a dynamic environment with a diverse psychiatric patient population.Excellent communication proficiency.Employing a wide range of diagnostic and recovery-oriented methodologies.Demonstrating expertise in psychiatric medications and adhering to best practices.Collaborating effectively within a cohesive team structure.Understanding and adhering to reimbursement and productivity standards, with the ability to hold others accountable.Providing medical leadership and oversight at clinical sites assigned by the Medical Director. Ensuring compliance with documentation requirements according to OMH regulations and agency policies.Qualifications:MD License and Board CertificationSupervisory experienceMinimum of 4 years of post-residency experience in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, preferably in an outpatient setting.Experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams, mentoring junior clinicians, and contributing to program development.Ability to build rapport with patients, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and effectively manage complex cases.ALL POSITIONS ARE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND, FINGERPRINTING AND MOTOR VEHICLE REPORT CHECK.EEO Employer
