Job Title: Field Reimbursement ManagerJob Location: Plainsboro, NJ (Hybrid Schedule)Pay Rate: Open to discussJob Responsibilities:Purpose:The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is a non-promotional, field-based professional responsible for ensuring appropriate patient access to prescribed products by:Educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and their staff about available patient support programs.Assisting with coverage, reimbursement, and access issues without influencing prescribing behaviour.Interpreting payer policy at local, state, and regional levels and communicating its impact to provider offices.Key RelationshipsReports To: Senior Director of Patient Solutions (or equivalent).Collaborates With:Market Access and Sales colleagues (in an informational, non-patient-specific capacity).HCP offices and internal departments to support patient access.Maintains appropriate and compliant boundaries between reimbursement and promotional roles.Haemophilia or other rare blood disorders experience is a plus. Essential FunctionsReimbursement Support:Assist provider offices with benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and appeals through the designated patient support program.Policy and Payer Knowledge:Communicate payer policy changes and their impact on product access.Office Education:Educate HCP staff on access processes and recommend best practices.Trend Monitoring:Identify payer trends and specialty pharmacy performance issues and take action when needed.Internal Collaboration:Share policy insights and effective practices with colleagues across the reimbursement team.Account Management:Execute local access strategies and manage assigned accounts effectively.Budget & Project Oversight:Manage personal budget and lead or support special projects as assigned.Core CompetenciesExcellent communication and account management skills.In-depth understanding of payer systems, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.Skilled in analysing access issues and implementing appropriate solutions.Highly collaborative with a strong sense of compliance and ethics.Able to work independently while contributing to broader team objectives.
