Folks not located in Louisville metro area, we are happy to provide relocation assistance.What You Will Be DoingDevelop audit objectives, plans, scope by reviewing available information and conducting researchHelp design, implement, and perform audit procedures and risk assessments based upon audit programEnsure compliance with all applicable plans, policies, and standardsEnsure accuracy of financial informationPrepares internal control recommendationsReview and/or assist with preparation of financial statementsIdentify and recommend updates to accounting procedures.Assist as needed with preparation of tax returns for audit and other clientsMentorship to other staff members and review of their work.What You Need for this PositionBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.3+ years experience in financial accounting, auditing, or a combination thereof, public accounting requiredStrong understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles( GAAP).Sound understanding of audit theories, principles, and practicesStrong interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, and time management skillsProficient with accounting software.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office applicationsSoftware Used At This FirmThomson Reuters suite, Checkpoint Smart Practice Aids and PPC librariesCompetitive compensation $85-115k for 1st year base salary Relocation $ provided for out of state candidates Multiple partner positions open in the near future for those on a Partner track!
