Hoag Health, the top-ranked health system in Orange County, CA is seeking a fulltime Psychiatrist in Reproductive Health to join a growing program! Our dedicated team consists of Maternal Mental Health Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioner and Therapists to support pregnant and post-partum patients during a very vulnerable time in their lives. We have two beautiful clinic locations in Newport Beach and Irvine, CA and are currently expanding our hospital in Irvine with a new hospital set to open in 2026! Unique opportunity for those who have a passion in serving maternal health patients. Details:Fulltime position, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm36 hours of clinical time and 4 hours/week of administrative timeWill spend time in Newport Beach, Irvine and also have opportunity for telehealth consultsCompetitive compensation package inclusive of: Base salary, productivity and quality bonusesComprehensive benefits package inclusive of: Medical, dental, vision, retirement (401-k with a match), PTO and sick timeCME allowanceCA medical license and DEA fee reimbursementSeasoned and dedicated support team including, administrators, medical assistants, therapistsResponsibilities:Treating pregnant and post-partum patients (up to one year following birth)The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluations for Hoag patients in the outpatient setting in person or via synchronous telehealth.Provide expert consultations for admitted maternity patients at Hoag Hospital’s Newport Beach and Irvine campuses.Common conditions include depression, anxiety, postpartum psychosis, birth trauma (PTSD), eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorderGrowing program with support from Hoag Women’s Health Institute.Requirements:Board Certification or Board eligible in Psychiatry Specialty training or experience in Perinatal & Reproductive Psychiatry is requiredMD or DO degree, and completion of ACGME accredited residency in PsychiatryActive, unrestricted California Medical License, or eligible for California State Medical LicensureActive DEA licenseStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work well in a multidisciplinary team setting and a passion for providing excellent clinical careContact:Steven YiPhysician Recruitment Consultantsteven.yi@
