The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating drywall costs for projects valued at $1M and above, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in our bids. This role is crucial for maintaining profitability and supporting our project management efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate and timely cost estimates for drywall projects over $1MAnalyze project blueprints and specifications to determine labor, material, and time requirementsCollaborate with project managers and contractors to gather necessary information for bidsPrepare and submit detailed bids and proposals to clientsConduct cost analysis and maintain an updated database of materials and subcontractor pricingAssist in project scheduling and resource allocation to optimize project workflowReview contracts and ensure compliance with construction regulationsCommunicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project successNegotiate terms with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricingParticipate in team collaboration to enhance estimating processes and improve efficiencyQualificationsProven experience as a drywall estimator in commercial constructionStrong knowledge of drywall installation and materialsExcellent skills in cost analysis and budget managementProficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawingsExperience with project management and schedulingFamiliarity with bid preparation and contract negotiationStrong understanding of construction regulations and safety standardsEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
