SNI Staffing Now has partnered with a busy multi-specialty office looking for multiple Bilingual Medical Schedulers with a minimum of one year of experience, to join our growing organization in the Houston, Texas Market! Looking for candidates with Pain Management or Orthopedic office specialty.Responsibilities:Communicates with all appropriate parties regarding patient and procedureFollows-up and ensures all documentation is obtainedVerifies if all LOP's have been obtained prior to scheduling proceduresSchedules and/or reschedules patient appointmentsCoordinates transportation for our procedure patients, if neededInform and provide the patient with the necessary information and instructions prior to the procedure dateFollows-up on all Canceled or No Show PatientsSends prescriptions to the pharmacy via fax or e-mailAnswer telephone and deal with inquiriesUpdate patients' information into the EMR databaseUpdates daily log for all patients' office visitsUpdates daily log of all patients who have confirmed proceduresCommunicates with the doctor and attorney officesRequired Skills:Must be bilingual (Spanish)Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, outlookEMR experienceGood understanding of medical terminology, good communication skills and is detail-orientedSpine Pain Management/Orthopedic background knowledge experience is preferredExceptional customer service and phone etiquette
