Water/Wastewater Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Project Manager to join our Water and Wastewater team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role involves managing a variety of municipal infrastructure projects—from initial planning and permitting through detailed design and construction administration.This is an opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams, develop strong client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our regional water/wastewater practice.Key Responsibilities:Lead project planning, budgeting, and execution for water and wastewater infrastructure projectsOversee technical teams and coordinate with subconsultantsServe as Engineer of Record for major deliverablesEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and quality protocolsDirect client communication and project reportingSupport business development, proposals, and client presentationsTechnical Focus Areas Include:Water supply, treatment, storage, and distribution systemsWastewater treatment facilities, sanitary sewer rehabilitation, and pump station designQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred)Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina, or able to obtain within six months5+ years of relevant engineering and project management experienceStrong leadership, communication, and client engagement skillsProven ability to deliver complex utility projects on time and within budgetCompensation:Medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) plan with employer base and matching stock contributions.Paid time off, including personal, holiday, and parental leave.Life and disability insurance.Flexible work arrangements.Ongoing professional development opportunities.Competitive base that can go up to $160k, and potentially more depending on experience.
