Job Title:Mammography Technologist / Mammography TechnicianPay: $32 per hour (starting pay). However, the salary range is flexible and will be determined based on your current earnings and expectations.Location: Rochester Hills, MI and Troy, MIJob Type: Full-time & Part-timeJob Description:A leading women’s health practice in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Mammography Technologist / Technician to join its breast health centers located in Rochester Hills and Troy. This role is ideal for professionals who value patient care, teamwork, and a respectful workplace that offers flexible scheduling and strong benefits.You will work under the supervision of the Center’s Manager with daily direction from Lead Breast Sonographers and Radiologists.Key Responsibilities:Patient Care & InteractionConfirm patient identification and imaging requestsExplain procedures to patients and answer questionsProvide clear, compassionate communication both in person and over the phoneMammography ImagingPerform mammography procedures and position patients properlyOperate and adjust equipment to ensure high-quality imagesPractice all required safety and radiation protection protocolsEquipment & InventoryConduct equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issuesOrder and manage imaging supplies and patient drapesDocumentation & AdministrationComplete patient charting and record-keepingForward studies to radiologists for interpretationSupport other clinical and administrative duties as neededProfessionalism & Team CollaborationParticipate in continuing education and trainingSupport colleagues and assist at other locations when necessaryMaintain composure during busy schedules and resolve issues calmlyQualifications:Required:High School Diploma or equivalentCurrent BLS CertificationCompletion of formal Radiologic Technology program (AMA-approved)ARRT and/or CRT CertificationMammographic Radiologic Technology certificationPreferred:3+ years of mammography experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Strong interpersonal and multitasking skillsSchedule:Monday to FridayDay shift8-hour shiftsFlexible schedule availableWork Environment:Medical office with clinical and administrative settingsFrequent movement, lifting (up to 100 lbs occasionally), standing, and bendingOn-site work only (no remote work)Benefits:401(k) with employer matchingHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Life InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Parental LeaveEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee DiscountsReferral ProgramRetirement Plan
