Physical Therapist

At Denver Sports Medicine, we provide our patients with unique, individualized, one on one care. Our team consists of chiropractors, physical therapists and massage therapists in one easy and convenient location. We also are a part of Green Mountain Wellness Center which is a great community of health minded practitioners. We are looking for a highly-motivated Physical Therapist to join our growing clinic in Lakewood, CO! We are looking for someone who is upbeat, hard working, and has excellent personal and hands on skills.Do you have excellent manual therapy skills but don't have the time to use them because you have to juggle 3+ patients per hour? Are you tired of fighting insurances to justify your treatments? Are you fast-paced and in need to get results every single session? Do you believe in evidence based medicine? Do you provide solutions and take the initiative when it comes to conflict?Then this is the dream job for you! We treat patients one on one for 45 minute treatment sessions, we are out of network with all insurances, we have basic documentation requirements, and you dictate your own treatments and progression. We work together to provide our patients with the most evidence based treatments available to help them achieve their goals and stay healthy!Job Duties:Meet the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.Participate in and promotes a positive, supportive, cooperative team environment.Help patient accomplish treatment plan by administering manual exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, therapeutic exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities and in using assistive and supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.Discharging patients from care after reviewing treatment plan and progress with referring physicians, nurses, other health care workers.Creates home exercise programs to ensure the patients continued success after they are released from treatment.Properly documents patient care services per-visit by charting in patient and department records.Maintains confidentiality of all patients and their treatment plans.Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations of Denver Sports Medicine.Attends and participates in staff meetings, training classes, networking events, and continued education.Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.Required Skills and Qualifications:Doctorate or Masters degree in Physical TherapyStrong skills in manual therapyPreferred Skills and Qualifications:Minimum of 1-2 years working as a Physical Therapist requiredBenefits:Paid Time Off if working 25+ hours per weekPaid HolidaysMonthly Health Benefits Stipend (when qualified)Continuing EducationIf you would like to join our growing energetic team, Denver Sports Medicine is the place for you!
