Overview:Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of Healthcare systems, Medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Central Fill Operations Lead.*** Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship ****************************************************************************** Location: West Sacramento, CA(970 Riverside Parkway Suite 20, West Sacramento, CA. 95605) *** Duration: 6+ months Work Schedule: Work schedule is Sunday – Thursday.Sunday 8:00am-4:30pmMonday-Thursday 1:00pm-9:30pmOvertime required. Schedule start times/days can change due to business needs.Job Summary:Client is in the business of better health, and we touch the lives of patients in virtually every aspect of healthcare. As a Central Fill Operations Lead, you’ll play a critical role in our pharmacy distribution center, ensuring the accurate and efficient delivery of pharmaceuticals to patients across the country. You'll help oversee daily production schedules, guide staff, maintain compliance, and help drive continuous operational excellence.Job Responsibilities: Serve as subject matter expert for all operational processes, including SOP tracking and training (20%)Create and manage daily production schedules and resolve operational challenges (20%)Organize and maintain the site's comprehensive training programs (20%)Research and investigate pharmacy incident reports to determine root cause (15%)Lead internal shipping processes and validate shipping accuracy (15%)Manage operational trackers and support performance analysis (10%)Required Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferredMinimum 2 years of operations experience; previous lead experience preferredWarehouse or pharmacy production environment experience is a plusSkills & Abilities:Strong working knowledge of Central Fill operations (preferred).Ability to create and manage complex production schedules.Understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).Experience in real-time data analysis and adaptive problem-solving.Pharmacy technician experience is a plus but not required.Working ConditionsHigh-energy, large-scale pharmacy/warehouse environmentMay include exposure to cold in refrigerated areas (5–7% of time)Occasional handling of regulated medicationsMust be flexible with schedule and available for overtime as requiredCompliance-driven and legally regulated setting**********************************************************************I'd love to talk to you if you think this position is right up your alley, and assure prompt communication, whichever direction.
