Pride Health is hiring a Forensic Processing Technician (Part-Time) to support our client’s medical facility in Lenexa KS 66219. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity, and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Job Title: Forensic Processing Technician (Part-Time)Location: Lenexa KS 66219Duration: 3 Months+Pay rate: $18 per hourSchedule: Tuesday & Saturday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM / 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM*The salary is determined by an individual's level of experience, as well as any relevant licenses and certifications they may hold.About the Role:We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable Forensic Processing Technicians to join our team in the Forensic Toxicology Processing Department. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely handling of specimens and data, supporting the integrity of forensic testing operations.Key Responsibilities:Receive and sort biological specimens (urine, hair, oral fluid, etc.) by source and work listPerform data entry using Maxilog and Flexilog systems (target: 70 custody and control forms/hour)Understand and follow strict forensic procedures and chain-of-custody protocolsIndependently process urine specimens for both regulated and non-regulated testingAccurately scan and image all custody and control formsDiscard negative specimens in compliance with lab protocolsMaintain working knowledge of the QTN Lab Information SystemFollow company policies, lab safety guidelines, and supervisor instructionsPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredPrior laboratory or specimen handling experience preferredStrong computer literacy and attention to detailExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to sit or stand for extended periodsComfortable working in a lab environment with strict safety requirementsDemonstrated commitment to accuracy and customer satisfactionPride Global offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, , legal support, auto ,home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
