Fire Sprinkler Design Manager

Position Overview: The Fire Sprinkler Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of fire sprinkler systems for various residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This position requires a thorough understanding of fire protection codes and regulations, as well as experience in project management and design software.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement fire sprinkler design plans for various types of buildings including residential, commercial, retail, municipal, industrial, warehouse, educational, and government buildings.Ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire protection codes, including NICET and NFPA standards.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure efficient and effective fire sprinkler system design.Utilize design software such as HydraCAD, HydraCALC, SprinkCAD, AutoSPRINK, and Revit to create accurate and detailed system designs.Conduct hydraulic and mathematic calculations to determine the appropriate design and layout of fire sprinkler systems.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and within budget.Oversee the installation and testing of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with OSHA and safety regulations.Train and mentor junior fire sprinkler designers on best practices and industry standards.Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler design and project management.Extensive knowledge of fire protection codes, including NICET and NFPA standards.Proficiency in design software such as HydraCAD, HydraCALC, SprinkCAD, AutoSPRINK, and Revit.Strong understanding of hydraulic and mathematic calculations.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience in residential, commercial, and industrial fire sprinkler design.Knowledge of building codes and regulations.Experience with BIM and Navisworks is a plus.Previous experience with fire pumps, hydrants, and other fire protection equipment is preferred.Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety protocols.BenefitsCompetitive PayMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceVoluntary Life InsuranceShort-term & Long-term DisabilityFSA ProgramPaid Time OffPaid Holidays401(K) with MatchCarreerTraining and Certification supportEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
