Qualifications Candidates for the Torts & Products Liability Associate will possess the following qualifications and expertise:Minimum of five years of litigation experience, preferably in tortsExperience in New York State and Federal courts handing the defense of products liability, personal injury and professional malpractice actionsBachelor’s DegreeJuris DoctorMust be admitted to practice in New York StateExcellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail with demonstrated ability to build effective working relationshipsAt this time, the good faith estimate of the annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $145,000. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as years of experience and skill level. This range does not include performance or merit-based bonuses or other benefits offered by the firm.
