The primary objective of this role is to design and develop fire sprinkler systems that comply with industry standards and regulations, ensuring the safety and protection of structures and their occupants.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop fire sprinkler system designs based on project requirements and specificationsCreate detailed plans and layouts for fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD and other design softwareEnsure compliance with relevant codes and standards, including NFPA regulationsCollaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate fire protection systems into building designsConduct hydraulic calculations and system analyses to ensure optimal performance of fire sprinkler systemsPrepare and review project submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentationProvide technical support and guidance to installation teams during the construction phaseStay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in fire protection and sprinkler designQualifications5+ years Fire Sprinkler Designer experience requiredNICET certification (preferred)Proficiency with Navisworks requiredProficiency with AutoSPRINK requiredFamiliarity with NFPA 13, 14, 20, 22, 2016, FM Global StandardsUnderstanding of fire protection principles and fire safety regulationsAbility to conduct hydraulic calculations and system sizingStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skillsBenefits Salary $70-110k (DOE) Medical, Dental, Vision 401k w/ match Annual bonus PTO/Holiday payEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
