Elevator Technician

Location: Lexington, KY (must be located somewhere in KY - will be travelling throughout KY)Salary: $40 -$60 hourly (salary depends on experience)Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of elevators and escalators, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong technical background and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall new elevators and escalators according to manufacturer specifications.Perform routine maintenance and inspections on existing elevator systems.Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in elevators and escalators.Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies to ensure minimal downtime.Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve system reliability and safety standards.Keep accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.Stay updated on industry regulations and safety standards related to elevator and escalator operations.QualificationsCertified Elevator Technician (CET) preferred.Proven experience as an Elevator Technician or similar role.Strong knowledge of elevator mechanics and installation processes.Familiarity with escalator systems and repair techniques.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
