THE ROLE: Operations SupervisorWe’re looking for…Operations Supervisor manages a department of associates typically consisting of between 25-60+ people. Operations Supervisor role is vital in the development of associates, achieving operational goals (UPH, CPU) in a safe atmosphere with a high degree of quality. Operations Supervisor at Rue must have a passion for service, safety teamwork and accomplishing goals.What You’ll Do Plan and coordinate shift activities for operationsAssist Operations Manager in planning, prioritizing, and communicating shift/departmental directives to insure efficiency and accuracyDrive operational excellence through productivity and qualityReduce rework in all areas- Think LeanInterface with peers and related staff on the implementation of processing strategies across multiple shifts- CollaborateEnsure that all shift/departmental personnel receive proper training, skill development, and assessment per company guidelinesRecommend and implement improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of employees. Implement specific objectives and performance measures to maximize productivityCoach, teach and train associates to accomplish goalsIdentify talent and succession opportunitiesHold accountable those who do not meet expectationsAccurately administer all timekeeping, payroll, and attendance tracking for direct reportsAchieve and maintain compliance with company and federally mandated regulations regarding safety, OSHA, HazMat and DOT. High School diploma required BS/BA Degree preferredLEAN/Six Sigma experience preferred Distribution/Fulfillment experience preferred3-5 years of supervisor experience in a warehouse or distribution environmentMust be detail and process orientedStrong communication skills – written and oralAbility to multi-task, delegate & manage direct reports in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently as well as in a team atmosphereAbility to work any shifts as required by businessExpected Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000Rue Gilt Groupe is committed to providing Associates with equal pay for equal work and carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to, prior experience, education, certification(s), license(s), skills and expertise, location, internal equity, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need.
