Mechanical VDC/BIM Coordinator - Remote OptionPosition OverviewTop BIM company looking for experienced Mechanical VDC Coordinators to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the coordination and implementation of mechanical systems, utilizing Revit and other BIM tools to ensure seamless integration and efficiency in our projects. This is an opportunity to work on world class technical projects and we have multiple roles open (on-site and remote options for qualified candidates)!Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with project teams to develop and implement VDC strategies for mechanical systems.Utilize Revit to create, modify, and manage HVAC and piping models and ensure compliance with project specifications.Conduct clash detection using Navisworks and other tools to identify and resolve conflicts in the design phase.Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling and resource allocation, to ensure project milestones are met.Provide technical support and guidance to team members in the use of BIM software and tools.Prepare and review documentation related to mechanical systems, including specifications, drawings, and reports.Participate in coordination meetings with other disciplines, such as electrical and plumbing, to ensure integrated designs.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field eperience.Proven experience with mechanical systems design and implementation.Strong proficiency in Revit and familiarity with other BIM tools.Knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes is preferred.Familiarity with clash detection processes and tools like Navisworks.Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.BenefitsRemote for qualified candidates with 5+ years of professional experienceHealth/Vision/Dental Insurance401K plan with company matchPTO/Sick Leave/HolidaysHSA/FSA/HRA AccountsWellness ProgramsIf you are an experienced BIM/VDC Technician Mechanical / MEP experience, please apply today or contact carson.kirk@Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
