Operations Control Room Supervisor

We are seeking an Operations Control Center Shift Supervisor to join our Real-Time Operations Team at the Reporting and Performance Monitoring Center (RPMC) in Scottsdale, AZ. This team monitors and controls 10 GW of utility-scale renewable energy assets, including wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). The Supervisor will oversee Operations Specialists on shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations.Qualifications5+ years of experience in power plant operationsDemonstrated technical knowledge of plant systems and SCADA operationsWorking knowledge of NERC, ERCOT, WECC, CAISO, PJM, and SPP regulationsAvailable for 24/7 on-call support as neededLeadership or supervisory experience managing direct reportsPreferred:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent relevant experience)Ability to analyze operational data for financially informed decisionsFamiliarity with highly regulated environments and critical systemsProven ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining quality and safety standardsKey ResponsibilitiesSupervise and guide Real-Time Operations Specialists during active shiftsMonitor real-time activity and performance of wind, solar, and BESS assetsIdentify abnormal conditions and assist in timely troubleshootingManage root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement effortsConduct periodic operator log reviews for accuracy and compliancePerform acceptance testing of RPMC tools and applicationsSupport commissioning of new projects and operational onboardingImplement quality control and compliance proceduresRespond to RFIs, data requests, and additional assigned duties
