Employment Associate AttorneyPosition OverviewWe are a mid-sized firmed based in Hartford, CT, seeking a skilled Employment Attorney to join our growing team. In this role you will focus on a variety of employment law matters, including employee benefits, labor law, and compliance with federal and state regulations. This role is essential for providing sound legal guidance on matters related to employment and employee benefits, ensuring their compliance and protecting our clients interests. If you have 3+ years of experience in employee benefits and are looking for role with major growth opportunities, we want to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on various employment law issues and employee benefits matters.Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, policies, and compensation plans.Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in labor law and employment law regulations.Represent clients in negotiations and disputes related to employment and labor issues.Assist in the compliance of ERISA, IRC, COBRA, and HIPAA regulations within client organizations.Provide training and support on governance and compliance matters relating to employment law.Collaborate with other attorneys and departments to ensure comprehensive support for clients.QualificationsJuris DoctorateLicensed to practice in the state of CT3+ years of experience in employment law, labor law, or employee benefits law.Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRC, COBRA, and HIPAA regulations.Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.Proven ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.BenefitsMedicalDentalVisionFlexible work structure1650 billable hour requirementHighly collaborative work environmentEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
