Commercial Lines Account Manager

We are a full service independent insurance agency seeking an experienced customer service professional to support our Insurance Producers with the sales and service of Commercial Lines Accounts. This position requires you to be fully knowledgeable of the various aspects, coverage, and needs of each account. You will need to become familiar with all carrier rating programs and underwriting guidelines. You will need to assist Producers with the marketing and placement of both new and renewal business. Prompt and efficient customer service is vital in this role.Responsibilities and DutiesWork with Producer in developing and closing new business and retaining existing accountsAssist Producer in obtaining all forms required for compliance with agency and company guidelines as neededMarketing and placement of new businessAssist Producer in negotiating policy and payment terms & obtaining finance contractsPrepare professional proposals, spreadsheets, documents as neededUnderstand all aspects of client operations & provide risk evaluation of client exposures by competent coverage reviewParticipate in client presentations & client contact campaigns as neededOrder and review policies, order endorsements and review for accuracy, review audits, experience rating modifications and classifications and make recommendationsAssist Producer by developing excel spreadsheets that will be shared with the client to maintain certificate lists, driver lists, property schedules, vehicle & equipment listsIssue Binders & set up initial certificates for processing and other necessary forms as neededReview and work pro-actively using renewal timelines, reviewing with Producer 120 days outCommunicate issues with both carrier and client to Producer as needed in between monthly reviewsReceivable & collection managementReview client balances with Producers monthlyQualifications and SkillsProficient use of AMS360 or Applied EPIC preferred along with working knowledge of:OutlookExcelWord
