Our mission is to provide high-quality products, expert consultation, and unparalleled service to support the commercial construction industry.Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and career-driven Sales Trainee to join our Savannah team. This is a structured, full-time development role designed to prepare you for a long-term career in Outside Sales. The first 6 months will be spent learning our products, pricing tools, and estimating processes. After that, you will transition into an Outside Sales Engineer role, managing your own accounts and driving business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Phase (First 6 Months):Assist Estimators and Sales Engineers in preparing accurate and timely HVAC equipment estimatesLearn to read and interpret construction plans and specificationsUse OST software for material take-offs and manufacturer tools for product selection and pricingDevelop knowledge of TBCo’s products, processes, and customersShadow Outside Sales team to observe client interactions and develop sales skillsOutside Sales Phase (Post-Training):Develop and manage relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building ownersPromote TBCo's HVAC products and services to existing and prospective clientsProvide technical consultation, product recommendations, and project supportPrepare and present proposals, bids, and quotes tailored to client needsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of salesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Construction, or related field preferred—but motivated graduates from other disciplines will be consideredStrong interest in building a career in technical salesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn from experienced mentorsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentBasic understanding of HVAC systems or a strong desire to learnProficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with OST software a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary with guaranteed income during training period + future commission potentialMedical, dental, and vision insurance (effective day one)Health Savings Account (HSA) with company contributions401(k) with company profit-sharing match (effective day one)Paid time off and additional voluntary benefitsStructured training program and long-term career path in Outside SalesSupportive team environment and direct mentorship from industry experts
