The role of Customer Service Warehouse Assistant is to help facilitate efficient traffic movement of loads that Allen Lund Company is assigned. As an on-site employee at one of our customer’s warehouses, professionalism and strong communication with the San Francisco team is essential. If this is you, or you like a challenge– let’s talk.You willAssist drivers in navigating the Fremont, NE yard Communicate both verbally and electronically with driversStart reefer unitsClean out trailers as necessaryFollow all safety requirementsMaintain up to date load status at all timesUpdates trucks on the road of any status changesInsure carrier arrival times at depotCommunicate verbally and electronicallyWork closely with the San Francisco teamOther General Areas of ResponsibilityInspect refrigerated trailers and ensure that they are safe and readyRed tag any unsafe trailers and maintain work areas clean at all timesFollow the established inspection procedures and complete inspection sheet for each trailerWork schedule: Mon-Fri, 5:00 am - 2:00 pmSkills And ExperienceSelf-motivated, enthusiastic team player who excels in a fast-paced environmentExperience in warehouse/yard/customer service/freight brokerage is a plusExcellent and effective communication skills Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethicAbility to quickly process information and make decisionsEffective negotiation and problem-solving skills, and ability to handle conflictExcellent time-management skills with the ability to multitaskHighly organized and detail-orientedAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentPay Range: $38,000- $40,000/ yearJoin us in making a difference!
