We're a leading electrical contractor and engineering firm, specializing in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for commercial and industrial clients in the Carolinas. We are looking for a Electrical Estimator to come join our team!We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for projects, ensuring that all costs are accounted for and that bids are competitive. This role plays a crucial part in the overall success and profitability of our projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed estimates based on project specifications and requirementsAnalyze construction documents, drawings, and proposals to determine project costsDevelop and maintain a comprehensive Bill of Materials for each projectCollaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate estimatesConduct site visits to assess project needs and gather necessary information for estimatesPrepare and submit bids in a timely manner while adhering to deadlinesMonitor project costs during execution to ensure profitability and manage financial risksAssist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for clientsUtilize industry standards and best practices in estimating processesProvide leadership and mentorship to junior estimators and team membersQualificationsBachelor's degree in a technical field, Business Management, or equivalent, and demonstrated work experienceFive (5) years operational experience in estimating, with at least two (2) years of electrical trade experienceProven experience as an estimator in the construction industryStrong knowledge of electrical trade and operational aspectsFamiliarity with profit and loss management and annual revenue forecastingCertification as a Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or Certified Cost Professional (CCP) is preferredExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to read and interpret construction documents and drawingsStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesLeadership experience in a team-oriented environmentBenefitsProfit Sharing = eligible for up to 10% of their base salaryBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision401k with company matchLaptopVacationOpportunity to work remote on Friday'sEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
