Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive maintenance technician to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across various systems and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a dedication to maintaining a safe, functional environment. Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities and Duties Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues Install, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment as needed Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests Document maintenance activities and update service logs and records Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and projects Follow all safety protocols and regulations during maintenance work Communicate with supervisors and team members about maintenance needs and priorities Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Skills Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Good communication and teamwork abilities Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods Familiarity with building automation systems and maintenance management software is a plus   Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or GED required (technical school or trade certification preferred) 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, mechanical repair, or related field Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems is highly desirable OSHA safety certification or training preferred CJK Group is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.  All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, protected Veteran status, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.   If you need assistance or a reasonable accommodation to apply for employment, please contact the location HR Manager at 218-829-2877 or smn.jobs@. #SMN24
