JOB TITLE: RS Aircraft Structural Mechanic IV LOCATION: Mesa, AZ PAY RATE: $32.18/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Summary: Apply advanced skills and knowledge to complete tasks effectively and contribute to team development Perform complex structural assembly and fitting operations, including drilling and riveting, ensuring assemblies meet requirements Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions to safely fabricate and install parts and equipment on aircraft Transition smoothly to new tasks with minimal impact on schedule or budget Use riveting tools (e.g., pneumatic drills, countersinks, rivet shavers) to install and remove fasteners without structural damage Follow work orders, blueprints, and standard operating procedures when working with adhesives, sealants, and solvents Inspect own work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to final inspection Mentor and assist team members with blueprint interpretation and troubleshooting production challenges Maintain accurate documentation (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs) Align and assemble parts using jigs, clamps, and fixtures Perform repairs and rework per DMTs, MRRs, and PCOs to ensure compliance Plan and organize workload to meet schedule and budget expectations; assist in coordinating projects and resource needs Maintain a clean and organized work area; support 5S, Lean, and safety initiatives Participate in continuous improvement and safety programs Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 6 years of related structural assembly experience Experience with Solumina and SmarTeam preferred Q-Stamp certification preferred Proficient in computer use and related software Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Skilled in close-tolerance work using specialized tools and equipment Proficient in basic math, including fractions and decimals Experienced with measuring devices and precision within specified tolerances Willingness to work any shift Able to lift up to 50 lbs Capable of climbing ladders and working in confined or elevated areas Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
