Summary:  Assemble and fit detail parts and structures using proper tools and techniques Perform sheet metal layout, fabrication, and installation on aircraft Drill, rivet, and install structural components with portable and pneumatic tools Remove fasteners and make repairs without damaging surrounding structures Interpret blueprints, operation sheets, sketches, and engineering documents Verify accuracy and quality of all completed work before inspection Train and assist teammates with blueprints and production methods Use jigs, fixtures, and clamps for part alignment and complex assemblies Complete repairs as directed by DMTs, MRRs, and PCOs Maintain logs, records, and accurate job charging to the aircraft Support 5S, Lean initiatives, and maintain a clean, safe work environment Properly collect and dispose of hazardous materials and shop waste Communicate job progress across shifts via turnover reports and meetings Operate and maintain company-provided tools and ground support equipment Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Follow SOPs for tool/equipment use and maintenance Work across shifts and adapt quickly to changing tasks and schedules Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required 4+ years of structural assembly experience Ability to read blueprints, engineering orders, and technical documents Skilled in sheet metal work and structural assembly using hand and pneumatic tools Knowledge of composite resins and materials Proficient in close-tolerance work and safe handling of sealants/adhesives Basic computer and shop math skills Ability to climb ladders/stairs, work in tight spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to work any shift Attention to detail, teamwork, and strong communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
